- Login to your Gmail Account associated with Google Analytics
- Go to Admin
- Type in the Account Name and URL you’re going to add
- Choose Industry
- Timezone is United States
- Keep the rest of the settings as is
- Click on Get Tracking ID
- Check Yes to everything and Accept
- Take note of your Tracking ID
- You can use that on the header of your website to track analytics but in our case, we don’t need it as we’re going to use a wordpress plugin
