7. Install the Tracking Code
- After creating the data stream, you’ll receive a Measurement ID and a Global Site Tag (gtag.js).
- Copy the Global Site Tag.
- Paste this code into the

section of every page on your website you want to track.
8. Verify Installation
- After installing the tracking code, return to Google Analytics.
- Navigate to Admin > Data Streams.
- Select your data stream and click on “Realtime” to verify that data is being received.
